Siela Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Siela handles information when you use the app to manage routines, events, notes, and optional cycle-aware features.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Siela mobile application and the public launch pages linked from the app or store listing.
2. Local-only data model
Siela is designed as a local-first app. In the current V1 model, data is stored on your device only and is not transmitted to a developer-controlled backend.
3. Information stored on device
- Routine information such as active routines, schedules, and completion state.
- Calendar and planning information such as app-created events and day-specific context.
- Personal notes you choose to write inside the app.
- Optional cycle information such as logged period dates, symptoms, and prediction context.
- App preferences such as theme, language, and reminder settings.
4. Information not collected or shared remotely
- No account registration, login credentials, or cloud profile are required for V1.
- No location tracking, advertising identifiers, or cross-app tracking are used.
- No third-party analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or crash-reporting SDK is used as part of the current launch posture.
- No health or cycle data is shared with third parties.
5. Notifications and device permissions
Notifications are optional and remain off by default until you enable them. If the app requests a device permission for a feature you choose to use, that permission is intended to support that local device feature and not remote tracking.
6. Export and deletion
You can export your app data as a local file and delete all stored data from within the app. Uninstalling the app also removes app data subject to the operating system's normal behavior.
7. Health-related boundaries
Siela is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Cycle predictions are statistical estimates based on the information you log and should not be used for contraception or medical decisions.
8. Third-party services and frameworks
The app uses application infrastructure libraries to function, but the current release posture does not rely on a cloud backend, third-party ad network, or external analytics platform to operate the core experience.
9. Children's privacy
The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required by law. If you believe there is a legal issue involving app data, contact the support address below.
10. Changes to this policy
If the app later introduces remote services, monetization, analytics, or materially different data flows, this policy should be updated before those changes are rolled out.
